For Janice Lee's Interface Culture class at CalArts, I was inspired by 'Choose Your Own Adventure' stories, but felt limited due to the lack of options given in a story, most often, two.
I created a website using words by Vladimir Nabokov and his story, Symbols and Signs. I removed all the adjectives in the story letting the reader decide, then make decisions to fill in the blank with options, ordered alphabetically, from the word bank. This way of shuffling words around gives the reader flexibility, and is forgiving when wanting to explore other options of possible adjective placement.
